Her maiden name was Christina Cannon and she was born where Edwards Chapel now stands. She married William Allen Edwards who preced her in death many years ago. The surviving children are John W., William T., B. Frank, Samuel H., Amos R. and Allie Edwards, Mrs Mary Hanner, and Mrs. Julia Major, all of who reside in Coffeen, Donnellson, or nearby farms. She is also survived by almost half a hundred grandchildren and several great granchildren and the following sisters, Mrs. Susan Green, Mrs. Betsy Stevens, Mrs. Ewards, Mrs Nora Grisham, all of Montgomery County and Mrs. William vickery of California.
