Mrs. America Edwards, wife of David Edwards, aged 73 years, died at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. John Elam, southwest of Mulberry Grove, November 12, 
1920.  Mrs. Edwards was born in Fayette County, November 22, 1846 a daughter 
of Nathaniel and Sarah Miles.  On October 12, 1871 she was married to David 
Edwards and they lived in bond County for about ten years following their 
marriage, later moving to Fayette County where they have since resided.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband and one son, Ira of Pleasant Mound, 
one daughter Mrs. John Elam an one brother, John Miles of near Pleasant 
Mound.  Interment was made in Noffsingers Cemetery.
