Tobias File Departed this life at his home in Pocahontas, Illinios, January 15,
1894.  Mr. File was born in North Carolina,March 20, 1810 and was 83 years,
9months and 25 days at the time of his death.
He came to Illinois in 1818 and has been a resident of Bond county since. He
married December, 23, 1830, Sarah Gillespie. To this union were born 11
children, four of whom are now Living.  Viz: Jacob File of Baden Baden, George
File of St. Jacob, William File of Sorento and Mrs. Nancy Lindley of Pocahontas.
 His first wife died in 1847 and he remarried December 23 1850 Sina cook and she
died in 1876.  In 1878 He was married to Mrs. Hannah baker, who survives him.
the Remains were laid to rest in the family Burying ground Near Baden Baden.

Additional Comments:
There are two File Cemeteries in Bond County.  One Near Pocahontas and one near
Millersburg (East Perrion)
