Mrs. Elizabeth Grigg, a resident of northern part of Bond county for many 
years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Hastings in Mulberry 
Grove, Jan. 18, 1923, aged 80 years.  Mrs. Grigg's maiden name was Elizabeth 
Coffey, daughter of Cleveland and Harriet Coffey, pioneer settlers of 
Montgomery county.  She was born near East Fork, Feb 20, 1843 and was married 
to Burl R. Grigg on October 31, 1867.  Mr. Grigg died sevearl years ago and an 
infant son, Hershell, also died.
Mrs. Grigg is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Annie Hastings.  Another 
daughter, Mrs. Hattie Satterlee, died about 20 years ago, leaving two 
children, Edith and Elmer Satterlee. Interment was at Liberty Cemetery.
