Mrs Hunter's maiden name was Laura Plant, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Plant. She was born September 24, 1858 on a farm west of Greenville. she was married about 33 years ago to Henry Hunter, who is a former Bond County man. After their marriage they went to Zenda, Kansas where they have live since lived. Mrs Hunter is survived by her husband, two sons, Wallace and Truman, both of Zenda and two daughters Mrs. Florence Case of Viola, Kansas and Nellie Hunter of Zenda. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. J. B. Wait of Southeast Prairie, Mrs. S.C. McAdow of Pocahontas, Mrs James Vyrne of Coyle, Oklahoma.
