Mr. Jenner was born Sept. 33, 1846 in Sussex County, England. his mother dying, his father married again and died leaving him the sole support of his widowed step-mother at the age of 13 years. He studied and practiced law until he came to this country in 1882. He married Anna Barrow in England, Nov. 16, 1872 and to them were born seven children of whom William H., Mrs. E.R.File and Wallace A. Jenner survive.. Mr. Jenner purchased a farm near Springfield and sold it when he moved to Bond County. 1884 he purchased the old water mill. His wife died in 1887. The same year his home was destroyed by fire and he moved to Pocahontas the and the following year purchased a lumber yard and for the remainer of his life was engaged in that business. Because of ill health this summer he sold out his lumber yard to the Greenville Lumber Company, of this city, which since been operating under the name Pocahontas Lumber Company. On Jan 28, 1898 Mr. Jenner Married Miss Mary H. Harlan and to them one child was Henry A. Jenner, who together with his widowed mother suvives. Mrs. Jenner is a sister of Mrs. E. L.
