Mrs. Polly Ann Kirkland, widow of the late John Kirkland of near Sorento 
passed away Friday, August 26, 1910.
Mrs. Kirkland was born in this county May 27, 1824, daughter of the late 
Elijah and Honor Lindley.  In 1840 she was married to John Kirkland of Sorento 
and by this marriage leaves two daughters, Mrs. Jane Tisdale of Blackburn, 
Oklahoma and Mrs. Martha Driskill of Sorento.  she leaves one brother Jocob 
Lindley of Los Angles, Califonia.  He husband died in 1891.  burial was at 
Kirland Cemetery.
