She was born May 13, 1827. Her maiden name was Indgold and she with her brothers and sisters lived with the parents at home until November 17, 1845 at which time she married Tim Hamel, with whoom she lived until Jan. 27, 1857, when death claimed her husband. the fruits of this marriage were six children, five of whom survive their mother. Mrs. Hamel made her way alone providing for her fatherless children as best she culd until July 30, 1857, which time she married George Long, who survives her.
