John J. Wilbur McReaken was born near Sorento, Illinois July 11, 1860.  He 
died May 22 1917 at Litchfield, Montgomery County, Illinois.  He married Mary 
A. Manning who died serveral years ago.  He is survived by sons, Ralph of 
Panama, Francis, Earnest, Wilber at home, daughters Geneva, at home, Mrs. 
Spadoni of Hobston, Montana; Mrs Viola Murphy of Sorento and a grandson, 
Claude Murphy, who made his home home with him.  He is survived by three 
brothers, Harry and Clyde of Panama and Hugh of Sorento and three sisters, 
Emma Bean of Hillsboro; Mrs Laura Shields of Benald and Mrs. Nettie Chapman of 
Springfield.
