Plant, widow of Williamson Plant, died at her home in the east part of the city, Feb 27, 1914 at the age of 86 years, and 20 days. Mrs. Plant was the daughter of James and Sarah Wafer and was born near Donnellson, Feb 7, 1828 and lived in Bond County all her life. She was married on March 31, 1853 to Williamson Plant. to this union were born seven children, one of whom, Mrs. Thomas W. Coverdale, died several years ago at Stillwater, Oklahoma. the suiving children are Emery of St. Louis, Will of Joplin, Missouri, Mrs. H.N. Mcneill and Miss Ida plant of this city, Mrs. Ada Battin of Decatur and Mrs. Sallie Tudor of Webster Groves, Missouri, Missour. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Thomas W. Hynes of this city and two brothers, J. E. Wafer of this city and John Wafer of Portland, Oregon. burial took place at Montrose Cemetery.
