Plant, of Pocahontas, died at his home July 17, 1915, Mr. Plant was past 74 years of age at the time of his death. He was the brother of the Clay Plant of near Greenville, who died three years ago last June and is also the brother of Dew Plant of Pocahontas. Mr. Plant was the son of L.B. Plant, a pioneer settler of Western Bond County, and he was born west of Pocahontas, January 27, 1841. Me Married Sarah Pierce of near Pocahontas and she with three daughters, Mrs. A.J. utiger of Highland, Rs. Ralph Ridgeway, and Mrs. Homer Collins of Pocahontas survives. One son Frank Plant died 14 years ago. Mr. Plant leaves sisters, Mrs. Mary Huffman of this city and Mrs. Lou Brown of Pocahontas. Burial was at Robinson Cemetery.
