The Greenville Advocate
J. W. Plant
b: March 12, 1817
d: March 12, 1891
Died at his home northwest of Greenville.
Came to Bond County Nov. 1858 settled on a farm where he died.
On July 30, 1845 married Ann Williamson who died March 30, 1871.
Thirteen children were born to couple, ten of whom, five sons and five 
daughters are left to mourn their loss.
Three having died before him.
Buried at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, in Bond County, Illinois.
