Mr. Potts was the son of the late Grundy Potts, one of the best known farmers in the south part of the county for many years. He was born on a farm south of Greenville, Jan. 11, 1857 and at the time of his death was aged 57 years, 3months and one day. He married Miss Martha Lindsay of Pennsylvania on Jan 11, 1833 and she with one son, Myron, who lives at home, and four daughters, Mrs. W.S. Floyd of Grow, Okalahoma, Mrs. L.J. Kersh of Oakland, Californi, Mrs. R.C. Perkins of near Greenville and Mrs. Winifred Potts, who lives at home survives. He is also survived by one brother, Marion of South of Greenville, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary G.
