Henry Sharp
B: April 5, 1819 in Clinton county, Illinois
Five miles south of Carlyle.
Educated at McKendree college
Married Miss Margaret Jane Miles of Bond County October 23, 1842. 
She being from Kentucky.
Moved to Bond County near Wisetown and resided there until his death, with 
exception of a sojourn of 18 months in Texas for the benifit of his wife's 
health.. He moved to Alhambra, where he resided until his death.
D: December 30, 1895.
Five children died in infancy and early youth preceded him and mother, and 
five chidlren survive him.
Mrs. Mary McAlister and M.M.Sharp of Greenville, T.C.Sharp of St. Louis, Mrs. 
Anna Pearce of Alhambra and Mrs. Betty Harris of Keysport.
