Mr. Zucca the son of Sameuel B. and Caroline (Jenta) Zucca was born November 14, 1915 in McAlister, Oaklahoma. He came to pocahontas with his parents when he was nine years old. He married Hazel Gillespie, January 5, 1946 and she with six children, Carol Ann, 11, Charles S., 9, Deno A. 5, Todd, 4, Tony R. 3, tina Marie 2, survies. Also surviving are a brother, James B. Zucca of Neodesha, Kansas. He enlisted in the army January 16, 1941 at Los Angles and was a sergeant in Co. L. 31st Infantry and was discharged September 8, 1945. He was entitled to wear the Purple Heart, American Defense, Asiatic/Pacific, Presicential Unit Citation with two oak leaf clusters and Philippine Libation Ribbons.
