Bond County Illinois Record BookA-1, 1821-1838 p.166 The Oath taken by David Lile before me February 5th 1833 is as follows Viz - I do solemnly Swear By the ever living God, that the Scedule now delivered and by me Subscribed contains to the best of my knoledge and belief, a full true and perfect account and discovery of all the Estate Lands tenements hereditaments goods Chattels and effects unto me in anywise belonging, and such debts as are unto me owing, or unto any person or persons for me or in trust for me, and of all secu- ritys and contracts whereby any money may become due and payable or any advantage or benefit accrue to me or to my use or to any person or persons for me or in trust for me. Liles William Coyle & John Clouse of the County of Bond and State of Illinois, are held and firmly bound unto the people of the State of Illinois in the penal Sum of two hundred Dollars Current money of the united State, for the true and faithful payment whereas we bind ourselves our heirs our executors & administrators jointly severally and firmly by these presents: Witness our hands and seals this 31st day July A.D. 1837. The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound James E. Lile of the County and State aforesaid Do well and truly Administer all and singular the goods and Chattels rights and Credits of David Lile late of the County of Bond and state aforesaid Decd, and make or cause to be made a true & perfect Inventory of all and Singular the goods & Chattels rights and Credits of the deceased, which Shall Come to the hands or possession of him the said James E. Lile as such administrator or to the hands of any other person for him and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be ex- =hibited in the Court of probate for the Said County of Bond, when thereunto required by said Court; and pay all just Claims & charges against the Estate of the Deceased so far as his goods Chattels and effects shall extend and if it shall hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the Said Deceased the same being first proved in Court and and letter testamen= =tory issue thereon; And the said James E Lile render up the said letters of Administration granted to him as aforesaid, when lawfully required of him; and shall do and per- form all other acts required of him by Law; then this obligation to be void other= =wise to remain in full force and virtue. Liles was appointed in her place, August 7, 1837 Bond County, Illinois Record Book A-1, 1821-1838 p.422 STATE OF ILLINOIS } } SS The people of the State of Illinois BOND COUNTY } to all whom these presents shall come greeting: Know ye, that whereas David Lile of the County of Bond and State of Illinois died intestate as it is Said on or about the 5th day of June 1837, having at the time of his decease personal property in this state which may be lost, destroyed, or diminished in value, if speedy care be not taken of the same; to the end therefore, that said property may be collected and preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or in- terest therein, We do hereby appoint James E. Lile of the County of Bond and State of Illinois Administrator of all and singular the goods and Chattels, rights and cre- dits which were of the Said David Lile at the time of his decease; with full power and authority to secure and collect the said property and debts, wheresoever the same may found in this State, and in general to do and perform all other acts which now are or hereafter may be required of him by law. The people of the State of Illinois to Isaac Smith John Coyle and Stephen Coyle of the County of Bond and State of Illinois Greeting: This is to authorize you jointly, to appraise, the goods, Chattels, and personal Estate of David Lile late of the County of Bond and State of Illinois deceased, So far as the same shall come to your Sight and knowledge, each of you having first taken the oath hereto annexed, a Certificate whereof you are to return, annexed to an appraisement bill of said goods, Chattels and personal Estate, by you appraised in Dollars and Cents, and in the Said bill of appraisement you are to set down in a Column or Columns, opposite to each arti- cle appraised, the value thereof.
