Obituary in the Democrat Message, Mount Sterling, Illinois, Wednesday April 25th, 1928
Margaret Catherine Miller, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. John Miller was born in 

Missouri Township, December 2, 1881, and died at her home in the east part of 

town, April 18, 1928, aged 46 years, 4 months and 16 days.



In 1900 she was married to John Briggs in Taylorville, Ill. To this union 

eight children were born, they having proceeded her in death. Her husband 

passed away in 1915. She was married to Charles Huddleston May 6, 1917, at Mt. 

Sterling, Ill. She leaves to mourn her death a husband; one sister, Sophia 

Neece; three brothers, Joseph Miller and Leo Miller of this city and Bernard 

Miller of Wayland, Mo.; Two nieces, four nephews, seven aunts and two uncles. 

She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.



Funeral services were held Friday morning at 9:30 o’clock from St. Joseph’s 

church, conducted by Rev, Fr. O’Donoghue, with interment in the Catholic 

cemetery.
