Miller MOUNT STERLING, Ill. – Horace C. Miller, 75, of Mount Sterling died at 6:05 a.m. Sunday (April 23 1989) in the Snyder-Vaughn Haven nursing home in Rushville. Mr. Miller was born Oct. 26, 1913, in Brown County, a son of Leo and Alta Logsdon Miller. He married Ann Bordenkircher April 14, 1951, in Mount Sterling. She survives. Mr. Miller was a retired accountant for the Brown County Motor Co. He was a graduate of St. Mary Academy and a member of the Chruch of the Holy Family. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Timewell American Legion Post 1059. Survivors also include two daughters, Mrs. Stephen (Deborah) Mohr of Naperville and Mrs. Danny (Barbara) Bigley of Mount Sterling; and four grandchildren, Roger Beebe and Jacob, Danielle and McKenzie Bigley, all of Mount Sterling. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of the Holy Family in Mount Sterling by the Rev. John Patrick Day. Burial, with military rites, will be in the Mount Sterling Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Hufnagel Funeral Home in Mount Sterling from 6 to 8 tonight and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the service. A prayer service will be conducted at 7 tonight. Memorials may be made to the St. Mary School in Mount Sterling.
