Over a year ago he was stricken with paralysis from which he had never recovered and death resulted Sunday evening, the direct cause being asthma of the heart. Those of the immediate family who survive the deceased are his wife, who before her marriage was Miss Rose Geise, and seven children, Mrs. John Briggs, Mrs. James Neeece, Joseph, Leo, Lawrence, Florence and Bernard. The funeral was held at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning from St. Joseph’s church and the remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery. Rev. B. Hasse, the pastor, conducted the services.
