The Democrat Message, Mount Sterling, Illinois, Saturday, March 30, 1889
Stephen Miller, an old resident of this county and for the past 4 or 5 years a 

resident of this city [Mt.Sterling], died at his home in the east end Friday 

morning.  Mr. Miller had been in feeble health for several years and his death 

was not unexpected. He leaves a wife and several children.  The funeral will

occur from St. Joseph's church, Saturday. May he rest in peace.
