I Jay Brown a Justice of the Peace certify that Mr. Sewel P. Johnson and Miss 

Calista A. Ashcroft (Ashcraft) were united in marriage by me at the residence 

of her Mother in the County of Brown and State of Illinois on th Ninth day of 

March A.D. 1875.
