On February 21, 1929, he was married at Waukegan to Esther Irene Lundborg of Buda. They have one daughter, Helen Louise. Besides the wife and daughter, he is survived by a son, George, of a former marriage; a sister, Mrs. Laura Davis, and a brother, William Farrar. The parents and one sister, Mrs. Hilah Madouse, have preceded him in death. His education was in the city schools at Elkhorn, Wisconsin. He was a farmer most of his life. He was known for his kind and helpful disposition, always ready to help anyone, and will be greatly missed in the neighborhood, but most of all in the home. The funeral service was held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the home near Elkhorn. A short service was held at the Lundborg home in Buda Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock and burial was in Hopeland Cemetery. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Relatives who came for the funeral were Mrs. Laura Farrar Davis of Delavan, Wisconsin; Mrs. Frank Kersting of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; William Farrar of Chicago; Mrs. T. E. Lundborg of Evanston; Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Steele of Oak Park; Mrs. Joseph Linroth of Galesburg; Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Nordstrom of Tiskilwa; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nordstrom of Dover; and Miss Irene Nordstorm of Princeville. Additional Comments: My Grandfather, son of John Walker/Adaresta Wales Farrar.
