From the Peoria Journal Star-Date of Death 11/1/86-

Buda- Esther I. Farrar, 93, died Saturday afternoon at Kewanee Public 
Hospital. Born Dec. 20, 1892 in Buda to Andrew and Helga Carlson Lundborg, she 
married Harrison Farrar Feb. 27, 1929 in Evanston. He died Oct. 14, 1936.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Allen (Helen) Royce; four grandchildren; 
three great grandchildren; and one brother, Theodore Lundborg, of San Dramos, 
Calif. She was preceded in death by one great grandson and three sisters. 
She graduated from Buda High School in 1911 and Browns Business College in 
1913. She was a private secretary for the Buda Company for several years. She 
was a member of the Buda United Methodist Church and 50-year member of the 
Buda Order of the Eastern Star. 
Services will be a 10:30 a. m. Wednesday at Taylor Memorial Chapel, the Rev. 
Marian Stone officiating. Burial will be at Hopeland Cemetery. Visitation will 
be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the memorial home, where an Eastern Star 
service will be at 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to her church or the Buda 
Rescue Unit.

My grandmother. Oldest daughter of Andrew and Helga Carlson Lundborg. Wife of 
Harrison Arthur Farrar.
