As a small child she moved with her parents to Keithsburg, Illinois, where she received her education and grew to womanhood. In 1889, she went to Chicago, where she remained until March 30, 1892, when she was united in marriage to Andrew Lundborg, by Rev. Torey of the Moody Church, and came to Buda with her husband as a bride to the house which has since been the family home. To this union were born five children, Lillian, who died March 23, 1910; Esther; Alice; Marian and Theodore. Those of her immediate family surviving her are her husband, Andrew Lundborg, three daughters, Mrs. Esther Farrar, Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Mrs. Marian Williams, Harvey, Illinois, Mrs. Alice Steele, Evanston, Illinois, and one son Theodore Lundborg, Evanston, Illinois; three brothers, John and David Carlson of Chicago, and Albert Carlson of Denver, Colorado; and one sister Anna Carlson of Zion City, Illinois. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother, and the welfare of her family and home was her chief concern. Her devotion to the members of her family was manifested in the loving kindness and home comforts, with which they were surrounded, and the wise motherly counsel with which she prepared them to meet the duties and responsibilities of life as they grew to maturity. Mrs. Lundborg was a devout Christian. She became a member of the Moody Church while a resident of Chicago and retained her membership until her death. She was a charter member of the White Shrine in Princeton, and also a member of Buda Chapter O.E.S. The funeral was held at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the home with A.H. Hammer conducting the service. Miss Mabel Turner and Miss Hattie Carper sang two numbers; "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Ivory Palaces". The bearers were R.E. Davis, B.O. Stinson, Albert Voigt, Charles Conley, R.D. Hade, and C.W. Redebaugh. Interment was in Hopeland Cemetery. Those who came from a distance were Anna Carlson, Zion City, Dave and John Carlson, Mrs. George Malstrom, Marian Webb, Chicago, E.E. Olson, Aurora, Mr. and Mrs. E. Steele and Blanche, Mr. and Mrs. O. Steele, Zearing, Mr. and Mrs. B.O. McInturf, Malden, Mr. and Mrs. H. Steele, Mrs. Margaret Piper, Mrs. Harry Thomas, Princeton, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Nordstrom and Lorene, Tiskilwa, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Carlson, Kewanee, Mrs. Joseph Linroth, Mrs. Anna Linroth, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Albert, Mrs. W.Y.
