In 1853 he moved to Jackson county Iowa. In 1855 Mr. Albery was united in marriage to Margaret James at Canton, Iowa. This couple lived happily together for over forty-three years. The last twenty-five years of Mr. Albery's life was spent in the town of Wyoming on the corner lot Main and Water streets from where he passed to the eternal world February 9th, 1899. For five year's before his death Mr. Albery was totally blind, but he bore this affliction not only with resignation but with cheerfulness, aided by the devotion of his faithful wife. Mr. Albery was a good citizen, an upright man, and a firm believer in Christ. Those who know him best feel that he was prepared to meet his God in peace. He will be sincerely mourned by his widow, his adopted daughter, Mrs. O. C. Kheller, and by many friends.
