Last Will and Testament of Paul C. Schuyler

IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN
I, Paul C. Schuyler of the City of Savanna, in the County of Carroll and State 
of Illinois, of the age of forty-three years and being of sound mind and 
memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and testament in 
manner following, that is to say:
FIRST:  It is my will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully 
paid.
SECOND:  After the payment of my said debts and funeral expenses, I give, 
devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Rozella M. Schuyler, all of my 
property, real and personal, in whatsoever form and wheresoever situated; to 
have and hold absolutely and forever. The provisions herein made for my said 
wife, shall be in lieu of all her other rights in and to my estate, including 
Widow’s award, dower and homestead.
THIRD:  In the event that it may be necessary to sell any part or parts of my 
said property, real or personal, for the payment of debts, then I hereby 
authorize my said Executrix hereinafter named to sell such property, real or 
personal, as may be necessary for such purpose, either at public or private 
sale, and to make execute and deliver all necessary deed, deeds, or other 
proper instruments of conveyance therefore.
LASTLY: I hereby nominate and appoint my wife Rozella M. Schuyler, who shall 
not be required to give any bond or other Surety in such capacity, to be 
Executrix of this, my last will and testament.; hereby revoking all former 
wills by me made.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF the said testator has hereunto set his hand and seal, on 
the fifth day of December, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred 
and Twenty-nine.
