Mrs. Harry Mason Dies at Hospital

Mrs. Harry Mason, 1304 Washington Street, died at 4:30 
o'clock this morning at Schmitt Memorial hospital. She 
was taken by ambulance to the hospital yesterday morning.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Cookson & 
Schourek Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dorothea Mason was born in Beardstown,  August 11,
1874, the daughter of Frederick and Mary Giles Nolden.  
She was 79 at her death and was the last survivor of the 
family of 11 children.

Her husband, Harry S. Mason, preceded her in death in 
1943. Surviving are several nieces and nephews and a host
of friends.  She was a lifelong resident of Beardstown 
and a member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine.  The 
Rev. Don Kruger, Pastor of the First Lutheran church 
where Mrs. Mason was a member, will conduct the funeral 
services at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Cookson 
& Schoureck Funeral Home. Burial will be in the city 
cemetery.

Friends may call at any time at the Cookson & Schoureck 
Funeral home.
