Friday, July 13, 1923

John Louis Anderson was born in 1860 in Arenzville, Cass county, 
Illinois and died July 3 at 11:00 o'clock in Proctor hospital, 
Peoria, Ill.

He was united in marriage to Miss Eliza Brittain of Pittsfield, 
Pike county, Illinois and to them were born six children, 
namely: George Frederick of Daw City, Oklahoma, Lottie B., near 
Arenzville, William, Clarence and John David, of Beardstown, 
Freeman of Hammond, Ind., Cordelia M., of Peoria, Ill.  With 
these he leaves his wife, Mrs. Eliza Anderson of Peoria and a 
number of grandchildren to mourn his loss.

He had made Virginia his home for many years.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 Friday afternoon in the M.E. 
church at Virginia, the Rev. Max B. Wiles officiating.  Member 
of the Odd Fellows lodge acted as pallbearers.
