Champaign County Man to Be Tried on Murder Charge



A murder trial which is attracting wide interest in central Illinois has 

commenced in Champaign county. Charles Moore of Pesotum is the defendant, 

being charged with the killing of Edward Allen at Pesotum last April. Allen 

had been paying attentions to Miss Louise Moore, the sister of the alleged 

murderer, and was shot and killed because he refused to cease. State's 

Attorney ___geshall has a big bundle of letters written to the girl by Allen. 

The principals of the case are all well known.
