MRS. RUTENBER OF SADORUS IS DEAD AT HOME

Sadorus, Nov. 22. - Mrs. Zelia Adeline Rutenber died  at  the  home  of  her
daughter, Mrs. F.E. Kellerat 8:20  o'clock  this  morning  of  complications
resulting from old age. The funeral will be held at 3:30  o'clock  Wednesday
afternoon from the home with Rev. H.W. Hartman officiating.  Interment  will
follow in the Craw cemetery. She is survived by three sons, in  addition  to
her daughter., who are Menzo of Kansas City, Mo., Ernie  of  Champaign,  and
Edward of Milwaukee. There  are  also  nine  grandchildren  and  four  great
grandchildren. She was born in Reed, Switzerland county,  Indiana,  Aug  11,
1835, and traveled with her parents to Lake Geneva, Wis. in a covered  wagon
Feb. 14, 1861. She married Darwin Rutenber soon after and they came here  to
live in 1872. He proceded her in death.
