J. (sic) CONOVER both of this city. Dr. G. E. SCRIMGER, pastor of the church said the service in the presence of only the bride's sister, Miss Dove STEWART and a near friend of the groom Mr. Thomas WOOD While the newly-wedded people were in the parsonage a party of friends of both the bride and groom gathered near the place and with stringed musical instruments serenaded them. Mr. and Mrs. CONOVER went from the parsonage direct to their new home, 209 West Tremont street, where a large crowd of relatives and friends gathered to make merry on one of the happiest days in the lives of the tow. Refreshments were served in abundance and good cheer reigned throughout the evening. The bride is a daughter of Mr. Peter STEWART of Homer. The groom, who is known all over the Twin Cities as "Bede" CONOVER, is a clerk in John MORRISSEY's wholesale and retail tobacco house. His friends are found all over the Twin Cities and in the surrounding towns among dealers and clerks who transact business with the MORRISSEY company.
