Levi Bryson 63, for more than 41 years a resident of Pana,was killed in a fall of coal in the Penwell mine of Pana, at 2:30 Monday afternoon. Decedent was born in Flat Branch township, Shelby Co. Il.A son of Mr. and Mrs Samuel Bryson. He is survived by his wife Ruth. One son Harley of Pana. One brother Albert of Nebraska, and 3 sisters , Mrs Julia Ashcraft of Pana, Mrs Ida Butler of OK., and Mrs Steve Jaegers of Decatur, Il. Adams and wife of Herrick. Obituary Pana news John C. Adams 82 , well known resident of Herrick died at the home of his daughter Mrs Sarah J. Bryson. In Pana at 10:30 o clock Sunday night. Death resulted after a short illness from pneumonia. Mr. Adams was the son of Joseph E. and Lavinia Woolen Adams(.Burris). He was born Nov. 26, 1850 in Shelby Co.. In 1874 he was united in marriage to Miss Louisa C .Eubanks who preceded him in death in 1930. Mr Adams has been employed in the capacity of Blacksmith in Herrick for the past 60 years. He was a lifelong member of the Herrick Christian Church. He is survived by the following children Mrs. Mattie Blumyer of Old Monroe, Mo. Mrs. Sarah J. Bryson of Pana, Ill. J.E. Adams Jackson , Mo. F.S. Adams Pueblo, Col.. L.T. Adams Shelbyville,Ill. He is also survived by the following half brothers and sisters. Cass Burris of Mo. Mrs. Arminda Frailey of Mo., Mrs. Susan Beck Mo.,and Mrs Sinia Miller of Vandalia, Ill. Thomas Lawrence Funeral services will be held at 10 am. Tuesday morning, at the Herrick Christian Church. Internment at the Myers Cemetary. Obituary Herrick July 30, 1930. Louisa Catharine Eubanks was born in Creal Springs Williamson Co. Il. on Dec. 13, 1845 Her parents were (Lys) Lysander Eubanks and Nancy Eubanks Her childhood years were spent in Williamson Co. She married John C. Adams in Murphysboro , Il. .
