She had been ill the last year suffering from enlargement of the heart. Mrs. Durbin was born June 4, 1874 in Lebanon, Missouri, the daugher of Josephus and Margaret Logsdon Durbn. She and John Vincent Durbin were married May 19,1891. She had resided near Taylorville since she was a child and was a member of St. Mary’s Church. Surviving are: Mrs. C.L.( Malinda) Ketchum, Mrs. Lloyd (Fern) Cocagne, Mrs. ALex (Hazel) Campbell and Mrs. Raymond (Goldie) Waterman all of Taylorville. Mrs. Leo (Ruth Durbin, Morrisonville, Mrsl Bela (Mary) Durbin Huntsville, Mo. Joseph J. of Austin, Minn. Andrew, who resided at home. She leaves a half- brother Isaac Durbin of Palmer and half-sister Elizabeth Durbin of Taylorville, 32 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. Her husband, John Vincent, 2 children; James Durbin and Margaret (Francis) Wicker and a brother Tom Durbin preceded her in death. The body will be removed from J. R. Masterson Funeral Home to the residence of her daughter Mrs. Malinda Ketchum, 517 East Poplar St. on Friday. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Rev. Fr. George Powell officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, in Taylorville, IL. SURVIVING ARE HIS WIFE, SARAH JANE AND THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN: MRS. C. L. (MELINDA) KETCHUM, SPRINGFIELD; MRS. BUELA F. (MARY) DURBIN, HUNTERSVILLE MO.;MRS. RAYMOND (GOLDIE) WATERMAN, NEAR TAYLORVILLE; MRS. LLOYD (FERN) COCAGNE, ASSUMPTION; JOSEPH J. DURBIN, TAYLORVILLE; MRS. ALEX (HAZEL) CAMPBELL, TAYLORVILLE, MRS. LEO (RUTH) DURBIN, TAYLORVILLE, AND ANDREW AT HOME. TWO CHILDREN PRECEDED HIM IN DEATH A FEW YEARS AGO; JAMES T. DURBIN AND MRS. FRANCIS (MARGARET) WICKER, BOTH OF THIS CITY. THE BODY WAS REMOVED TO THE J. R. MASTERSON FUNERAL HOME TO BE PREPARED FOR BURIAL AND WILL BE TAKEN TO THE HOME OF HIS DAUGHTER, MRS. ALEX CAMPBELL, 721 W. ENGLAND STREET SATURDAY. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9 O’CLOCK MONDAY MORNING IN THE ST. MARY’S CHURCH, REV. FR. GEORGE POWELL WILL OFFICIATE. BURIAL WILL BE IN OAK HILL CEMETERY.
