Bible Record of James McDaniel Family

The original James and Rhoda McDaniel Bible was destroyed by
fire.  However, another sheet of paper was found the the Elza
McDaniel Bible, which is believed to have been written about
the time of Rhoda McDaniel's death (1899), or in her last
years, by some of the children.

James McDaniel was born the year of our Lord 1804 on the 14th
of March.

Rhody Quakenbush was born on the twenty-second of Sept. 1809.

Nathan McDaniel, son of James and Rhody McDaniel was born on
the 20th day of Sept. 1830 Monday morning.

John McDaniel was born the 24th of June 1832.

Mareyelen McDaniel was born the 19th of July 1834 Saterday.

Levi McDaniel was born the 12th of November 1836 Saterday.

Cyrus McDaniel was born the 12th day of May, Wednesday 1841.

William McDaniel was born the 24th of February Saterday 1844.

Ruth McDaniel was born October 28, Wensday 1846.

Enoch McDaniel was born the 15th day of May 1849, dec'd August
24, 1849.

Elza McDaniel was born December the 7th 1851, Saterday.

Note:  The name of Charity McDaniel, who was born in 1838,
omitted from this written paper.  However, Charity McDaniel
Chamness had died in 1887--perhaps the writer intended to fill
in the dates later.
