Small diary that Ida Mae Finkbiner had writing


Lewis William Finkbiner and Ida Mae Sweitzer were married in 
August 18 1901 and it rained on Sunday afternoon.I went to
Peoria Illinois,that fall and lived with the Kellers.Irene
was born February 23 1902,then in the spring came home and
stayed until fall and went back to the Kellers.In the spring 
went to house keeping in Peoria Illinois on Anette street
and Ray was born August 20 1903 that fall we moved to S.Adam 
street.In the spring came back home with the children and in 
May 26 1904 dad came back home to,and stayed home until
October.That year then we went to house keeping in the
Mandford place and in the spring we moved to the Davidson
place. Then in the year 1906 Sarah was born August 1906 then 
on Thanksgiving day we moved to the house that dad
bought,then on Janurary 23 1907 Lester and Ester was born.
Richard was born at the same place in the year October 19
1908.Then dad sold the place.We moved to the Hallanbook
house stayed there one year and moved to the Burn Mclloure
place and Herman was born February 14 1912.In the year of
1913 we moved to the Davidson place.In the spring of 1914 we 
moved up to one of the Mcfall house.In the summer we moved
to the other house of Mcfall then December 1914 we moved to
the Machey place in the year of 1915.Jossie was born May 16
1915.Then in the year of 1917 we moved to the Shaw house and 
lived in two houses in Indiana river bottom,then in 1918 we
lost little Jossie.Then in the year of 1918 October we moved 
up to Tom Nolen house in the year of 1919 December.We moved
to the Rudford place and in the year of September  3 1920
Bus was born.In the year of 1933 we moved to Isabell and
lived in two houses there.In the year of 1936 we moved to
Borton Illinois.Irene and Ray started to school at Hall
school then went one year at Washington school and then went 
back to Hall school again,then went to Sugar Creek
school,then they went to Boggs school then they went to two
different schools in the state of Indiana.Then we came up on 
the prairie and then to the Haran Common school.Then they
went to the Berry school.Bus went to Berry school seven
years.Flossie went to Berry school one year.Bus and Flossie
went to Isabell school,Richard and Herman went to Oakland
high school.Bus and Flossie went to Brocton High school.
