R.  He was always ready to lend a helping hand to comrades in distress.  He was loved and respected by all who knew him and he will be missed in the community in which he lived, but we are consoled by the faith we have in the promise of the reward which awaits him in the Grand Army that has answered the last roll call.   Resolved that these resolution be published in the county papers and a copy be sent to his family and that they be placed on the records of the post.   L.
