Physical Examinations of Class One In Progress

Wednesday, 6 February 1918, Clark County (IL) Democrat

The Exemption Board has completed classification of army
registrants, and physical examination of those in class one is
now going on.  The local board placed 440 in this class and
the district board may increase this number.  Those called for
examination Monday were not examined because the Board had
orders to await regulations coming through the mail, and which
failed to arrive.  They were ordered to report next Saturday.
