Birthday of Mrs. Joe Williams

Sunday was the 39th birthday of Mrs. Joe Williams of Anderson township, so
her daughter Grace planned a surprise on her.  At the appointed time about
one hundred relatives and friends gathered at the home to fittinly
celebrate the occasion.  After an elegant dinner of everything good to eat,
the time was whiled away with vocal and instrumental music and pleasant
conversation.  Mrs. Williams was the recipient of a fine rocker and several
other nice presents.  All departed in the evening wishing her many more
happy birthdays, after spending a very happy day.
