Wednesday the little child of Mr. and Mrs. William Nidey fell into the river. The 
family resides near the river and the little one escaped from the mother's sight. As soon 
as she missed the child, she ran towards the river and arrived there just as the little one 
fell into the water. The mother plunged into the stream and rescued the child before it 
became strangled.
