Notwithstanding the busy season for the farmers, a large number drove in to attend the exercises, indicating there is a keen interest in educational work throughout the country. Judge Booth of Washington, D. C., delivered the address which was a masterly one, and such a one to help inspire a greater interest in school work. The largest class ever sent out from the rural schools, received their diplomas, and a large number were given promotion certificates.
