Obituary of Amanda Harriet Perkins Bullard

From Clark County (IL) Herald, 6 April 1904


Amanda Harriet Perkins was born in Greene county, Ind., Feb. 13, 1833, and
died at her home in this city March 31, 1904, aged 21 years, 1 month and 18
days.  When but a child her parents moved to this county where she grew to
womanhood.  She was married September 1869, to John Bullard and then lived
in Livingston county for several years.  They came back to this county in
1880, making thier home in Anderson township until last September when they
moved to Marshall.  She had been a member of the Baptist church since 10
year of age.  Besides her husband, she leaves 4 children, Charles of
Sidell, J. C. and Mrs. Fannie Jackson of Arcola and Dell of Marshall; also
three brothers, James Perkins of Kansas and Samuel and Granville Freeman of
Anderson and one sister, Mrs. Martha AnuHaren? of Anderson township.  The
funeral services were held at the home on Saturday at 2 o'clock, Rev. Lile
officiating.  Interment at Marshall cemetery.
