Obituary of Amelia Falbush Burkett

Wednesday, 26 April 1922, Clark County (IL) Democrat


Amelia Falbush was born July 16, 1840 in Auburn township, Clark county,
Illinois, and died April 10, 1922 at Marshall aged 81 years, 8 months
and 24 days.

On March 9, 1862, she was united in marriage to Garrett Burkett in
Auburn.  She is survived by her husband and seven children.  She was a
member of the Centenary church for at least 60 years.

Besides her husband and children she leaves to mourn her departure 31
grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted by the pastor, April 12 at the Marshall U. B.
church.  Interment was in the Marshall cemetery.
