S F Maring of Marshall received word Sunday of the death of his nephew, Charles Bartlett, at Meadow Creek, Idaho. Mr. Bartlett is a former resident of Clark County. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Harold and Don, two daughters, Gladys and Marie, one brother, George Bartlett of Melrose Township, and one sister, Miss Sarah Bartlett of Melrose Township. On July 30 Mr. Bartlett went to bring the cows to the barn and as he did not return a search was begun that lasted through the night without result. The next morning a general alarm was sent out and the search continued for ten days before the body was found. It was stated that heart trouble was the cause of his death and that he died instantly. When in Clark county Mr. Bartlett lived in Melrose township and moved to Idaho about 27 years ago. Funeral services were held at Burnes Ferry (should be Bonners Ferry), Idaho on August 10.
