Obituary of Calvin W. Boyer

28 July 1937, Clark County (IL) Democrat

Calvin W. Boyer, 67 years old, supervisor of Paris township and head
of the Boyer Products Company of Paris, and well known in Clark
county, died suddenly at 10:30 o'clock, Sunday morning at the Paris
Hospital.  Mr. Boyer was stricken with what appeared to be acute
indigestion about 9 o'cloc, Sunday morning and never rallied.

The deceased was born in Grandview township, resided from 1911 to 1923
at Charleston, Illinois, since which time he was a resident of Paris.
For a number of years he conduced an ice cream plant.  He was active
in Democratic politics.  Mr. Boyer is survived by his widow, three
children, Ralph and Mary of Paris, and Mrs. D. A. Stewart of
Champaign, Ill.  A brother, Arthur Boyer, resides at Denver, Colorado.
