For some years she lived in New York City with a sister, who had preceded her to the United States. She was one of the pioneers of Clark county, coming here in 1852. At that time there was no railroad traffic to Marshall and the nearest point was Paris. At Paris she was met by the playmate of her girlhood days, now grown to a sturday pioneer, with whom she had kept up a correspondence since they had parted in the Fatherland. At Paris they were married by Rev. Father Ryan in the little chapel which still stnds in the west part of that city and their honeymoon trip was overland in a wagon to Clark County. Settling on a farm 7 1/2 miles north of Marshall, they began life in an humble sort of way, as did many others who came to old Clark in her infancy and helped to make the good county what she now is. Since the death of her husband, six years ago, she has lived with her brother, John Brady, where she died Wednesday, March 8, 1905. She had no children and the only ones left to mourn her death are one brother and family and her many friends. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/il/clark/obits/b/tbrady.txt File size: 2 Kb
