MARTINSVILLE PLANET - 05FEB1975 - SERVICES THURSDAY FOR MRS. ROSA CHANEY, 87

Mrs. Rose R. (Poe) Chaney, 87, of Martinsville, passed away at 2:00 p.m., 
Monday in the Casey Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, in the Markwell Funeral Home, 
Casey, with Rev. J. C. Bennett officiating.  Burial will be in Bethesda 
Cemetery, West Terre Haute, IN.  Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 
4:00 p.m., Wednesday.

Mrs. Chaney was born in Martinsville.  She was a member of Mt. Olive Church 
near Casey.

Surviving are a son, Lewis Hicks of Martinsville; Mrs. Laverne Sharpe & Mrs. 
Alberta Blackburn, both of Norma, TN; Mrs. Reba Russell of Morris Hills, IN; 
Mrs. Geneva Brown of Milford, OH; sister, Mrs. Amy Cribelar of Casey; 10 
grandchildren.
