All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarch.org/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarch.org/il/ilfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Cindy McCachern mccachern@worldnet.att.net Obituary of Nancy Ann Bostwick Crow Wednesday, 8 December 1926, Clark County (IL) Democrat Nancy Ann Bostwick, daughter of Archibald and Catherine Bostwick, was born June 16, 1840, and after a few weeks of illness fell peacefully asleep, Friday evening, December 3, 1926, at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 17 days. She was born and reared to young womanhood near Fairbanks, Sullivan county, Indiana, where she was united in marriage to Samuel Crow, on April 7, 1859, and to this union eight children were born, three daughters, and five sons.  Nancy C. Cooper of West Union, Martha E. Evans of West York, Naomi Newlin of Fort Gibson, Miss,  Voorheis, James, William, Benjamin and Samuel Crow of West Union. Besides her immediate family she leaves one brother, John Bostwick, who made his home with her and one foster child, Mrs. Lizzie Brown, of Kansas City, Mo., 28 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, also a host of friends to mourn her death. Her husband preceded her in death on July 7, 1906.  More than 25 years ago she with her husband united with the Christian church at West Union during the ministry of Bro. Richard Layton and remained true to her faith until death came. Servant of God, well done They glorious warfare's passed. The battle's fought, the race is won. And thou art crowed at last Funeral services were held at the Christian church in West Union, Sunday afternoon, with Elder R. C.
