Obituary of Roscoe Cornwell

Thursday, 14 January 1965, Clark County (IL) Democrat


Roscoe "Ross" Cornwell, 76 years of West York, R. R. 1, died
Friday evening at the Rude Nursing Home in Casey, Ill. He
is survived by the widow Goldia. Six daughters, Mrs.
Barbara Galey, La Porte, Ind; Mrs. Iola Schultz, Hammond, Ind;
Mrs. Clema Stephens, La Porte, Ind., Mrs. Esther Drum, West York,
R. R. 1; Mrs. Clara Belle Bartram, Marshall, R. R. 5; Mrs. Eva
Dale Heleine, West Union, R. R. 1, four sons, Rex, Daniel R.,
Carroll, Larry, all of West York, R. R. 1; one brother, Ezra
Cornwell of West York, R. R. 1; thirty five grandchildren and 4
great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at
2:00 P. M. at the Melrose Church with the Rev. John Conover
officiating. Burial was in the Medsker Cemetery. The
Prust-Hosch Funeral Chapel was in charge of the service.
