All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarch.org/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarch.org/il/ilfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Cindy McCachern mccachern@worldnet.att.net Obituary of Samuel Crow 13 July 1906, Hutsonville (IL) Herald Samuel Crow, aged over 70 years, died Saturday at his home near West Union from a stroke of paralysis suffered the previous day.  He was born in Melrose township, and in 1859 was married to Anna Bostick of Sullivan county.  He resided in that state and in Kansas a few years, and since 1875 has resided in Clark county.  He is survived by his widow and eight children--Mrs. S. D. Cooper, Mrs. W. B. Evans, Mrs. Ira Newlin, Voorheis, James, Wm., Benjamin and Samuel.  He was a member of the Christian church and funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon by Elder Richard Layton and Chalkley Bailiff, interment being made in the Evans cemetery near West York.  A large concourse of friends and relatives were in attendance.
