All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarch.org/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarch.org/il/ilfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Cindy McCachern mccachern@worldnet.att.net Obituary of Julia Ann Morgan Drummond Mrs. John Drummond Julia Ann Morgan, oldest daughter of Oliver and Johannah Morgan, was born at Snyder, Illinois, March 11, 1880, and departed this life at her home in Grand Turn community, Marshall, Illinois, May 25, 1943, at the age of 63 years, 2 months, and 14 days. Mrs. Drummond was a faithful companion, a loving mother, a good neighbor, and was loved by all who knew her.  She was converted in youth and united with the Methodist church at Snyder, later moving into the vicinity of the Immanuel Evangelical church where she and the children attended.  She was in poor health for a number of years, but she bore her suffering with patience and courage. She was united in marriage to John R. Drummond, Oct. 10, 1900.  This union was blessed with six children, 4 daughters and 2 sons.  One son, Dannie, preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband John R. Drummond, Marshall, Illinois, five children, Mrs. Maude Snow, Rosedale, Indiana; Mrs. Emma Careton, Longview, Illinois; Ben Drummond, Marshall, Illinois; Mrs. Ethel Wilson and Mrs. Julia Mae Wyrick, both of Chrisman, Illinois; 15 grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother, Frank Morgan, Marshall, Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. Hannah Davison, Marshall, Illinois; Mrs. Martha Serwise, Gary, Indiana; Mrs. Christena Davison, Paris, Illinois; and other relatives and friends.   Card of Thanks We wish to express our thanks and appreciation to our many friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy shown during the illness and death of our companion and mother.  We extend our thanks to the minister, Rev.
